Once you have successfully created your CSV file with the desired data, you are ready to import into the Youth Assistant.

1. Make a backup by going to File > Backup > Yes, Backup. - This is the only way to undo anything just in case it doesn't work how you like.

2. Go to: File > Import > In the pop-up window browse and select your CSV file.

3. You will then see 2 columns in the import window. The left hand column is the "Target Field" (the Youth Assistant fields) and the right hand column "Imported Data" (the CSV fields). Move the target fields in the left hand column to match the data in the right hand column. Make sure that you check the boxes that you want to be imported.

4. At the top of the window select which ministry zone you would like to import these individuals. (This really applies more to the customers who have more than one ministry zone.)

5. Click the Import button. If you get an error message, it will will create a Notepad file of all the individual that didn't import and why they didn't import.

That's how you import. Really the most important aspect of it is to get your CSV file prepared for the import.
