Community Leaders who do not have an iPhone or Android are still in luck. Community and Group Leaders can still send Yaptap messages by some simple text message commands. If a Community or Group Leader wants to send a message out to all the Members in a group, here are the steps using only text messaging. Note: This does require the Leader to know the Group #code. The #code will appear below their name in the Group name in the Groups column.

1. Save 20166 into your phone contacts as Yaptap.

2. Create a new text message that will send to the Yaptap contact.

3. At the beginning of the text message, type the #GroupCodeHere of the desired Group.

4. Leave a space after the #GroupCode, then type the message.

Example: #youth Don't forget about the lock-in this Friday!

5. Touch SEND.

This will send a message to all the Members in that group just the same as if the Community or Group Leader sent that message to the group inside of Yaptap.
