This is a great question, and it isn't hard! Just make sure that you have a USB Flash Drive (at least 512MB of free space) and follow the steps below.

1. Begin at the computer that the Youth Assistant is currently installed on and browse to the data folder. Here are the default locations:

Windows XP: C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\Nspire Data or Youth Assistant Data or Childrens Assistant Data

Windows Vista: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Nspire Data or Youth Assistant Data or Childrens Assistant Data

Windows 7: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Nspire Data or Youth Assistant Data or Childrens Assistant Data

2. Copy the Youth Assistant Data folder to a USB Drive (or an external hard drive.)

3. Now take the USB Drive to the new computer. On the new computer browse out to the "Shared Documents" (Windows XP) or "Public Documents" (Windows Vista/7).

4. Copy the "Youth Assistant Data" folder from your USB Drive to your "Shared/Public Documents" folder on the new computer.

5. After the data folder is copied onto the new computer, open it, and run the "YouthAssistantClient_***.exe" file. (NOTE: There may be more than one, just make sure to run the client install with the highest number at the end, that will ensure that the latest version available is installed.) After the installation is complete the Youth Assistant icons will be available on the desktop and the software and data will be successfully transferred.
