With the iPhone and Android mobile apps, it allows Community Leaders to import people from the phone address book. When importing Members with a mobile number, they will receive a confirmation text message as soon as they are imported. So you might want to stay away from any 3am imports. Also, until they reply back YES to that confirmation text message they will not receive any text messages. We have found with existing customers that if the Community Leader will let the Members know you are going to do an import and inform them to reply YES, it is much more successful than doing it without their knowledge

1. Open the Yaptap app on the iPhone, iPod Touch, or Android.

2. On the home page, touch Members.

3. Touch + in the top right.

4. Touch Address Book at the top.

5. All the individuals in the phone address book will appear. Select the desired individuals, then touch Save.

6. This will add the selected address book individuals to the Yaptap members list. 

7. Touch Close in left corner.

Don't forget, that when the Members are imported into Yaptap, that they will receive a confirmation text message and will need to reply back YES to receive text messages from Yaptap.
